Welcome to TBAS

Run by brewers for brewers, The Brewers’ Association of Scotland (TBAS) exists to grow the value and reputation of the Scottish brewing industry.

TBAS is a sector specific, membership organisation open to all breweries who are predominantly Scottish owned and brew less than 200,000 hectolitres per annum in Scotland.  It is led by a Board made up of brewers and it exists to develop the sector as a whole as well as support individual company growth.

TBAS has joined forces with Scotland Food & Drink (SF&D) – while retaining its independence and autonomy – meaning that any TBAS member can also access all the benefits of SF&D membership.

We also work closely with the Scottish Government and enterprise agencies to ensure that Scotland becomes the best place in the world to own a brewery – whether this is ensuring a skilled workforce, collaborating to make the most of supply chains, supporting innovation or investing in targeted export support. By 2018 we will have led on a brewing sector-wide strategy, to identify key opportunities and areas of further development.

If you are interested in TBAS, or Scottish brewers generally, we’d love to hear from you.
